procedure for making hexagon in field using chain

how can we make hexagon in surveying in field using chain ??

First mark a station and put a ranging rod at that station. put 6 arrows around the central station at different positions. Measure the distance from central station to each station using chain or tape. And also take the distance between adjacent stations.
